ENSTTIC also offers direct entry into CS1 (3rd year — engineering cycle) through a national entrance exam. It is open to students who already have a university background and meet the eligibility conditions set by the school. Past entrance exam papers are available in Courses > 2CP > Entrance exam.

Read the rulesLike any school, ENSTTIC has its strengths and its challenges. This section aims to give future students a realistic and honest picture of what awaits them, so they can prepare as well as possible. The goal is not to discourage anyone, but to inform openly.
Make a weekly plan. The CP is dense — it is better to revise regularly than to cram the whole weekend before the exams.
Study groups work very well at ENSTTIC. Share courses, correct each other and move forward together.
This platform gathers all the courses, tutorials and exams of each year. Use it from the start of the semester, not only when revising.
Much of the technical literature is in English. A good level opens internship and career opportunities abroad.
Even in the non-software specialities, programming (Python, C, Java) is a real asset. Start early and practise regularly.

Yes, studying at ENSTTIC is harder than at university, and the school is one of the places where succeeding is not easy.
But with work and consistency, it is entirely possible to succeed.
The choice is made at the end of CS2 (4th year) based on your ranking and your preferences. If you like programming → TTN. If you are passionate about networks → TRIP. If you prefer telecoms → ST.
A job is never guaranteed, because everything depends on each person’s mektoub and rizq.

For 1st-year students, it is a good idea to at least look at their activities and attend a few events. It helps you meet older students, and club members generally like helping others.
Whether clubs take time away from studying mostly depends on the student and how organised they are. If you already struggle to manage your studies, it is better not to get too involved.
Do not forget that your main priority at ENSTTIC remains your education and passing your year.
So the advice is simple: at least try to discover the clubs at the start, then decide whether you really want to get involved.
There is a bit of everything.
There are excellent teachers with whom you understand the course very well and hardly need to work alone afterwards. The problem is that there are few of them: often only one or two per year.
There are also teachers who give the basics in class, and then it is up to the student to work alone, do research and ask questions to understand properly.
And finally, there are some teachers whose teaching method students sometimes find hard to follow or understand.
In general, students have 4 sessions a day, from Sunday to Thursday:
All classes at ENSTTIC are taught in French. It is a French-speaking school, even if some teachers sometimes give introductions in English, especially in technical subjects.
Yes, there is an eliminatory mark: a module average below 5.
If your overall average is above 10 but one module has an eliminatory mark, you sit the resit for that module and you must raise your mark.
If you manage to raise it, you can pass after the resit. Otherwise, the final decision depends on the deliberation.

At first, it will not necessarily block you completely, even if your French is weak. You can still follow the classes and make progress.
But the course may be a bit harder for you than for someone who already masters the language.
On the other hand, you need to work on your French over time, because in the end you will be an engineer, and it is not normal for an engineer to master no foreign language.
Wherever you come from, you should know that many students admitted through the exam struggle at first with studying at ENSTTIC, mostly because of the workload in the grandes écoles.
Even if some have already studied similar modules at university, they often find a completely different method and pace here.
So think carefully before coming, and be ready to put in the effort to adapt.

Yes, ENSTTIC has a university residence for students coming from other wilayas.
In general, rooms are shared by 3 students.
Each student has a bed and a desk, with two large wardrobes shared between the three occupants.
There is usually no connection in the rooms.
But there is an internet room open 24/7 for students.
The food is not really good. Some students find it acceptable, but most do not really like it and find that there is not enough.
Honestly, the restaurant staff’s behaviour is not always good.
Many students complain about frequent arguments, inappropriate remarks and sometimes even vulgar language heard in the restaurant, including between some employees. The atmosphere can sometimes be unpleasant, especially as female students are also there.
But it should be said that there are also respectful and kind employees, so this does not apply to all the staff.
Queues are generally shorter than at universities, since there are fewer students.
And no, boys and girls are not separated: they queue together and eat in the same restaurant hall.

The school usually finds the internship place. Students mostly choose between companies such as Algérie Télécom and Mobilis.
